General Terms and Conditions

  1. Persons interested in accommodation in Zruby pod Chopkom are obliged to book a log cabin in written form or on-line at ubytovanie@ zrubypodchopkom.com. Log cabins are allocated by the reception of Zruby pod Chopkom. It is necessary to state the exact date, number of persons and other specific requirements.
  2. After approving the booking the reception will send by mail or on-line:
    – The booking confirmation
    – General Terms and Conditions for Accommodation
  3. Upon receiving the confirmation the guest pays the 100% of the accommodation price within 7 days from the date of confirmation.
  4. In the case of non-payment of the deposit within the set deadline, the reservation is canceled automatically without any notice. Your reservation is valid only after the required amount has been credited to the account below.
  5. The operator reserves the rights to cancel the stay in case of events that could not have been prevented even if all reasonable measures had been taken or as the result of unusual and unpredictable circumstances. The operator is obliged to notify the customer of this fact no later than 3 days before the arrival. In this case, the operator will allow the customer to stay in a different timeframe for the customer or offer replacement accommodation in the vicinity.
  6. Be aware: the payment by mail or bank transfer may not be credited within 3 days even if you made the transfer in time. To prevent the booking from cancellation please email us the receipt of the transfer to confirm the payment so your booking is valid. Please state your name or confirmation number of your booking in the e-mail to help us identify your payment. We will then issue and send you your voucher with all information necessary for your stay.
  7. Payment of deposit from Slovakia:

    For the correct payment assigning please state your name and surname, current address and dates of your stay.Check in:
    4pm-9pm . For check-in outside these hours please call the reception on 00421 915 763 601.Check-out:
    10amYour booking is secured after receiving the full payment of your stay within 7 days from the date of confirmation from Zruby pod Chopkom.
  8. Insurance of the guests and their personal belongings is not included in accommondation prices.
  9. The earliest hour of arrival (check-in ) is the 15:00 hour of the first day of stay. Check-out is by 10am on the last day of stay. The accommodation time is therefore between 15:00 and 21:00. A few days before your coming, contact the reception by phone +421 915 763 601 and agree on the exact time of your arrival. Other time of coming, as mentioned above, it is necessary to agree with the reception. After 21:00, the reception desk can be disposed of and sold again. Failure to comply with an agreed stay is considered as a cancellation by the client. A customer, who requires accommodation on the day of arrival before 14:00 and therefore the room cannot provide the previous night to another customer, will pay the price of the accommodation also for the previous night. A customer who wishes to terminate the stay after 10:00 on the last day and therefore cannot afford the next night to another customer will pay the price of the accommodation also the following night. Exceptions to this rule may only be individually agreed upon for free accommodation capacity. In case of non-observance of the accommodation hour, the customer is charged the sum of 20, – EUR for each hour commenced after 11:00.
  10. The operator reserves the right to terminate the stay immediately in case of breaking the guidelines of the General Terms and Conditions for Accommodation if the client caused outstanding damage to the accommodation capacity or its equipment or if the behaviour of the client during his/her stay is inapropriate. The operator also reserves the right to disable further accommodation to the client who has history of the behaviour stated above.
  11. Cancellation policy
    The guest has the right to withdraw from the contract anytime before starting to utilise the services. Notification of the withdrawing from the contract has to be delivered by mail or any other proven way to the address of the operator. The withdrawal from the contract becomes valid from the day of the writen notification delivery to the address of the operator. The guestt is obliged to pay the contract fees immediately as follows:
    • 30-19 days prior to arrival – 20% of accommondation price
    • 18-14 days prior a torrival – 50% of accommondation price
    • 13-8 days prior to arrival – 90% of accommondation price
    • 7 or less days prior to arrival – 100% of accommondation price
    The operator considers the cancelled facility as available for other guests.
    For contract withdraval by the customer is also considered:
    – change of contract (change of date and number of persons) requested by the guest if not feasible by the operator
    – the guest does not have the right to financial reimbursement for the unused services.
  12. The receptionist notes the name of all persons in the Guest Book. The guest is obliged to provide his/her ID card, passport or other identification to prove the identity and provide the information mentioned above. If confirmed number of persons is higher than the available capacity the operator has the right not to accommodate the extra persons.
  13. The operator provides services for the guests in the extent stated in the respective general binding act.
  14. The operator does not hold any responsibility for caused damages or stolen goods.
  15. The client is forbidden to change furniture, make adjustments or any damages to electrical power and other installations without previous agreement from the operator.
  16. The guest is obliged to close water taps, switch off lights, close the windows and balcony doors, lock the front door and bring the key to the reception of Chata Trangoška.
  17. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the whole area except for dedicated premises. The fine for breaking this rule is 100Euro.
  18. For the safety reasons it is not recommended to leave children under 10 years without adult supervision in the area.
  19. Dogs and other animals are allowed to be in the accommodation after notifying the reception.
  20. The guest is responsible for the damages caused to the property and is obliged to report them to the reception.
  21. The guest submits his/her complaints and suggestions at the reception.
  22. By signing the contract the guest confirms his/her agreement with processing the data stated in the contract in accordance with the generally binding law of Slovak republic act. 428/2002.
  23. The operator processes the data provided by the guest for the purpose of making reservations and processing the notifications of the stay for clients from other countries for the Foreign and Boarder Police.
  24. By confirming the booking (via mail, e-mail, fax, money transferring, approving action or personal agreement) the guest agrees with the General Terms and Condition for Accommodation, understands it, agrees with it and accepts it in full. The guest is obliged to follow these General Terms and Conditions. In case of cancellation by the client the operator reserves the right to withdraw from providing the services before agreed date.

The General Terms and Condition for Accommodation are valid from 1.11.2015.

Cancellation policy

For contract withdraval by the customer is also considered:

– change of contract (change of date and number of persons) requested by the guest if not feasible by the operator

– cancellation of any guest agreed beforehand or not utilising part or all paid services. The guest does not have the right to financial reimbursement for the unused services.
