Swimming pool Liptovský Ján (55 km)
The village of Liptovský Ján is located in the Low Tatras mountains on the northern side of the Jánska Valley. On the travertine hills there is a spring area of thermal and mineral springs.
These springs are the most abundant sources of mineral water in Slovakia (35 litres per second). To the south of the village there are summer thermal pools and an indoor pool area (one 50 m pool, 2 kids pools, 1 relax pool) using water from the Rudolf Spring. Water temperature ranges from 26 to 29°C (78 to 84°F) and it is mineral and acidic. Due to its gas content, it is significantly carbonated with medium hydrogen sulphide content. Regular baths in this water bring relaxation to the entire body and ensure good sleep.
